I just bought v.10 of DNAngel.
Because between all the (horrible) romance, DNAngel is a very creepy story. Dark is creepy too. "The one who hunts his own kind." Yeah... total junk, this picture. I didn't like the cell-shaded version, so I used paintbruch for the shadows, which makes it look even weirder. And his eye is beyond weird. I'm just glad there's only one.
PS: I don't like Riku. I don't hate her, I just don't like her. She's so... ordinary. Compared to Daisuke (ultra cute), Dark (hot, as odd as I feel saying that), Satoshi (cool), Towa (eccentric), and even Risa ("Oh my God, Risa's a total delinquet" v.08, she really turns out pretty damn cool), Riku is just... bleh.
The anime does not do the manga justice. Actually, the manga kind of sucks until the Second Hand of Time and 3rd Stage Arcs...
So, yeah... whatever.
The art is so pretty though. And also, be sure to check out Lagoon Engine, by the same artist.
